FlowJo is a developer of a single-cell analysis software designed to help make discoveries to improve human and animal health. The company's software offers single-cell flow and mass cytometry analysis using open-ended plugin architecture in a statistical environment for immunophenotyping, cell cycle, proliferation, and kinetic studies, enabling research laboratories and institutions to understand and diagnose critical diseases including cancer, HIV, and infectious diseases.

 

Buyer Details

Becton Dickinson is the world's largest manufacturer and distributor of medical-surgical products, such as needles, syringes, and sharps-disposal units. The company also manufactures diagnostic instruments and reagents, as well as flow cytometry and cell imaging systems. BD Interventional (largely the former Bard business) accounts for 23% of revenue. International revenue accounts for 44% of the company's business.
